Rachel was passionate about the family as a unit and all the exciting things that can be achieved by that common bond of
love and understanding.
However every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer, imagine how that feels. Each family sets off on a path not knowing where it will lead. The Foundation will help in some small way with this journey, trying to provide a place where children who’ve been affected by cancer can come and join in activities that will help rebuild their confidence and give their parents a break.
The first stage of this fund raising effort, therefore is the building of a community centre pavilion at Pannal Cricket Club in Burn Bridge Harrogate, that will have the facilities to reach out to the families of children with cancer and make a difference.
